Prekowski is a dissonant post-punk band that has emerged from the sweat of countless underground music-goers. They create music that could just as easily serve as the soundtrack to a knife fight scene. The five-piece collective draws inspiration from the aggression of The Birthday Party, the melancholy of Joy Division, the aesthetics of Bauhaus, and the smoothness of Morphine. Prekowski distinguishes itself within the Flemish punk scene by integrating a free jazz saxophone and a fully rebuilt drum kit played standing up. Both live and on record, the band sounds raw, dissonant, and uncompromisingly honest. Their debut EP House Of Work was released on June 12, 2026.
